Handmade by craftsmen in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, the place of Japanese brass craftsmanship.
Beautifully designed bell with a soft, rounded shape and a graceful swaying motion when played. Suspended by a single slender stand, this bell produces a longer and more resonant tone compared to traditional bowl-shaped bells.
It is inspired by the "Rin", a traditional Japanese instrument used in Buddhist rituals. A Rin is typically placed on a household altar and struck during prayers or moments of reflection. It plays an important role in Japanese spiritual and cultural practices, offering a clear, calming sound that signals focus and reverence.
The jade-shaped chime will sway cutely after being struck with sound and visual healing. The unique craftsmanship of the chime rod allows it to stand upright on its own like a tumbler without falling over. The chime rod is made of rosewood with a brass bottom that enhances the sound further when struck. The inverted design of the chime also creates a long lasting sound.
